Participants: Political authorities and partners of the 13 museums participating in the 10th Prema University Course, special guests.
Aim: To help African museums in their efforts to develop relevant programmes for African children.
Content:
The programme consists in:
An event: the official opening of the Ecole du Patrimoine Africain - EPA.
An in depth reflection on the place occupied by children in African museums, through:
- The results of the inquest on animation in African museums, which was held in 27 museums of 17 countries.
- A meeting on " Education and Culture ", centred on the psychology of African children.
- Suggestions of actions to be led by EPA for the period going from 2000 to 2010.
The presentation of professional projects designed by the 16 participants of the 10th PREMA University Course.
Exchanges and demonstrations about:
"New technologies of information and communication: false hopes, real problems and new tools for African museums."
